Opening times

Museum: 1 March – 31 October, Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am-6pm, café from 12 noon to 5pm. Alternative opening hours for groups on request.
In March, our café is only open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Weather permitting, the field railway runs from Easter to late October each year, from Tuesday to Saturday at 11:30am, 2:30pm and 4pm, and on Sundays and public holidays at 11am, 1pm, 2 pm, 3pm and 4pm. 
NB: Trains may be cancelled due to weather conditions.

Tickets can be purchased at the museum checkout.
Groups can request different departure times.
NB: Trips may be restricted due to weather conditions. Each trip lasts about 30 minutes.

Annual tickets

An annual ticket entitles the holder to free admission to the museum, the special exhibitions, special events and field train trips.

Families (parents and children) €40 Grandparents and grandchildren €40 Twin (one personal ticket holder and another individual) €40 Single (one adult) €18 Youth (children aged 6 and over, pupils, students) €8
